About Your Instructor
My name is Himanshu Barot
I’m a vocalist, performer, and vocal coach who believes music is not just something we sing—it’s something we live.
My journey began in India, where I grew up surrounded by a rich mix of classical traditions, film music, and diverse sounds that shaped my ear from an early age. That love for music pushed me to explore different genres, languages, and performance styles—eventually leading me across the world to New York City.
In NYC, I refined my craft at the Mannes School of Music and stepped into a world of opera, musical theatre, jazz, pop, and contemporary performance. Along the way, I’ve performed in multiple languages and trained singers of all ages—from complete beginners finding their voice to advanced performers polishing their technique.
Today, I help singers build strong technique, confidence, and artistry through a mix of classical foundation and modern vocal coaching. My goal is simple: to help you sound like you, but the most powerful version of you.
